EMILY SCOTT
The Movement was founded by Emily Scott, a California girl who now calls Sussex home. She discovered yoga in 2000 in a warehouse in Los Angeles with a hundred people crammed together mat-to-mat, and has been hooked ever since. Yoga has seen her through ten years in Corporate America, a professional dance career, motherhood (still in the trenches on that one!) and now she’s sharing what she’s learned and learning along the way. She’s constantly learning about the body, the breath, the spirit, how we move, why we move, and how it all relates ... and this exploration fascinates her and keeps her moving, breathing, and trying to share her findings.
She enjoys teaching a slow but strong vinyasa flow, mixed with pranayama, restorative, and yoga nidra. She’s passionate about using the breath as a tool to create change in the body and the mind, and aims to create a space for people to improve their lives from the inside out. Learn more
