Emma Newlyn
Emma has practiced forms of meditation for most of her life, and was introduced to the physical practice of yoga as a teenager. After graduating from university with a degree in music performance, Emma took her first yoga teacher training course and has been teaching full-time ever since. She also works as a holistic therapist and writer for wellbeing magazines like Breathe, and blogs for sites such as Yoga Matters and Ekhart Yoga.
Emma is especially passionate about yoga philosophy and Ayurveda, and leads courses and workshops to help others bring these ancient practices into their modern lives. When she’s not teaching or writing, Emma spends as much time as she can in nature, which she feels is one of the most therapeutic and perspective-shifting practices there is. Emma loves sharing creatively sequenced flow yoga classes with a blend of different movement styles, as well as restorative practices accompanied by pranayama and meditation. Learn more
